A born connector, people magnet, gifted presenter, and calm, methodical coach, Laurie is CEO and Workplace Strategist of Aligned at Work™ in Scottsdale, AZ. Having spent 35+ years developing people in corporate environments, Laurie discovered her own path becoming Aligned at Work™. She works in tandem with her husband Joseph to coach, train, and consult with leaders who want to engage their team members and create happy and high performing workplaces.

Laurie is the creator of the Aligned at Work™ Model, which combines the Success Factors of Vocation, Relationships, Finances, Wellbeing, and Spirit into an integrated work/life model. She identified these factors in the thousands of leaders and team members with whom she worked as a leadership and organization development expert in the field of banking and finance.

Laurie spent the last 17 years of her corporate career working for some of the nation’s largest investment and banking companies. Most recently, she was Vice President for Wells Fargo in Phoenix, where she managed multiple teams of Learning and Development and Communication Professionals. Laurie is a former leadership development facilitator for Vanguard, the nation’s largest mutual fund company.

Laurie has an MS in Organizational Development and Leadership from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a BS in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University in PA. She works with experienced and emerging leaders to build engagement into their cultures and practices, and she specialized in building high performing teams.

Laurie is an Associate Certified Coach and a Master Practitioner for the Energy Leadership Index, an assessment tool that measures types of energy and how it shows up in people’s lives, work, and relationships. She uses the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) to increase leaders’ self awareness and diagnose team interactions. Her work with leaders and teams is based on the Drexler Sibbet Team Performance Model.

She is a board member for the Women’s Enterprise Foundation, and member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, the International Coach Federation, and the Arizona Organization Development Network. She volunteers with various non-profits in the Valley of the Sun, including Hope’s Crossing, the Fresh Start Foundation, and St Mary’s Food Bank.

taketheleadLaurie is proud of the work she does through Take the Lead Women, an organization and movement that promotes parity in leadership positions for women by 2025, not 2095 as the numbers point to now. She is a Certified Leadership Ambassador through Take the Lead, and provides keynotes and workshops on 9 Power Tools to Advance Your Career, based on the work of Gloria Feldt, Co-Founder. Laurie also coaches women leaders and provides professional facilitation of Women’s Workplace Wisdom Circles, designed to advance women at work.
